This policy explains what information ALPFA (“ALPFA UIUC,” “we,” “us”) collects when a sponsor pays on this website and how it is used.
What we collect
On this website, you enter your company name, billing contact name, billing contact email and, optionally, a PO or reference number. These only fill in your payment summary. This website does not store or send them anywhere.
When you pay, Authorize.net's secure payment page collects your company name, billing contact name, billing address, email address and phone number, along with your card details. We receive the billing and contact details and the transaction record (amount, date, last four digits of the card and the authorization status).
Card data
Your card number is entered only on Authorize.net's hosted payment page. It is never entered on, sent to or stored by this website or ALPFA UIUC. Authorize.net is a PCI DSS compliant payment processor.
How we use it
- To process your payment and send your receipt
- To confirm your sponsorship and deliver your tier's benefits
- To answer questions about your payment, refunds or disputes
- To keep financial records for chapter accounting
Who sees it
Only the ALPFA UIUC VP of Finance has access to the Authorize.net account and the chapter's private record of sponsor payments. Sponsor contact details may be shared with chapter officers who coordinate your benefits (for example, scheduling a presentation). We do not sell, rent or trade your information.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Authorize.net may use cookies on its payment page as described in its own privacy policy.
Retention
Payment and transaction records are kept by Authorize.net under its own record-keeping policy. Our VP of Finance keeps a private record of sponsor payments only as long as needed for chapter accounting.
